The Knit Hat
This past weekend, Evelyn got to go to the mountains for the first time to see the Autumn leaves. The ride was beautiful and Breckenridge, the destination, was equally striking. Evelyn really enjoyed both the trip and the fresh mountain air even though it was a little chillier than what she’s used to down in Denver.
Lucky for Evelyn and for Evelyn’s parents, auntie Chau, who is also in this photo, was not going to let Evelyn suffer as she bought Evelyn a beautiful knit hat and a pair of mittens to keep Evelyn shielded from those cool mountain winds. Thank you auntie Chau! 🙂
PS: Evelyn does not only smile any more; she can laugh audibly and loves to laugh with anyone who’s willing to share her joy. She can’t crawl yet, but can push her butt off the ground with her feet and her elbows, and mysteriously move all over the room.
